At TotalCare we offer a range of group fitness classes to suit everyone’s fitness goals.
Whether you want to get your heart rate up in a cardio style class, build strength or work on your balance and control, we have the class for you.
- Mat pilates / Barre
A slower paced class which combines pilates and barre style exercises. Mat pilates is a type of training based on the principles created by Joseph Pilates. This class focuses on control, flexibility and breathing. Barre is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga and pilates. It is an energising, full body workout that will definitely have you feeling the burn.
A workout designed to build muscle strength. This physiotherapist lead class will use a range of equipment including weights, resistance bands, barbells and machines in a safe environment. This class is suited to all fitness levels including beginners!
- HIIT (High intensity interval training)
High-intensity interval training is a training technique which consists of repeated intense bursts of exercise, followed by short recovery periods. These workouts are designed to keep your heart rate high and burn maximum calories.
- Bumps and Bubs
We know it can be difficult to find time for your own exercise and health needs as a new or expecting mum. At Totalcare we’ve created a space where both you and your little ones are welcome.
Classes will run on Tuesday mornings by our Exercise Physiologist Emily. Exercises will be specifically targeted for pre and post natal mums.
