Emily graduated from Deakin University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science, and in 2021, successfully graduated from Deakin University with a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology. Over the duration of her Masters and clinical placements, Emily was able to gain experience and develop her skills working with clients who had numerous chronic and acute conditions, ranging from metabolic, mental health, cardiovascular, neurological and musculoskeletal.
Emily comes from a family of healthcare workers and has played tennis, danced and exercised since she was young. These experiences have led to her having a genuine and sincere interest in exercise and health, which has then driven Emily’s passion for using exercise to help others live healthier and happier lives. Emily has experience in exercise prescription for the prevention, treatment and management of chronic conditions including Type 1 & Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, falls prevention and balance, osteoarthritis, spinal cord injuries and stroke.
Outside of Total Physio Care, Emily is also employed as a Personal Trainer and group fitness instructor. In her down time, you will find Emily on a dancefloor and/or either with a paintbrush, pencil or glue gun in hand as she enjoys painting, drawing and creating.
