Megan graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters in Physiotherapy Practice before joining the team at Total Physiocare in Heidelberg and Reservoir, and at TotalCare in Brunswick.
As a Physio, Megan has experience in assisting patients in both private and hospital settings. These include patients with a variety of different conditions encompassing Musculoskeletal, Neurological and Cardiorespiratory issues.
Before Megan studied Physiotherapy, she studied full time ballet for 6years at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School. At 18, she moved to Perth to study an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts (dance) for three years at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Megan has undertaken training in Barre/Pilates, Progressing Ballet Technique and Dance injury prevention and management, as well as in conducting Pre-Pointe Assessments. She enjoys treating dancers of all levels and ages.
Megan is also a Level 1 Lymphoedema Therapist and enjoys treating clients at various stages of the condition. Megan enjoys working with clients who have experienced lymphoedema as a result of cancer and cancer-related surgeries / treatments
When Megan isn’t working, she enjoys teaching dance, going for brunch with friends and feeding her coffee addiction numerous times a day.
